I Liked the Book until I found out that she had cancer ... like really was it really necessary ? MY GOD she lived with a man who didn't make her happy and then she goes through al this trouble to get her kids a new start and then she ends up like that !!!? I CRIED SO MUCH that I couldn't even finish the book .. It hurt so bad and I don't why .... Anyways I did loved the good parts, It was lovely but I don't think I can ever read a book before reading the ending EVER AGAIN :'(Product details

Diane is a brave woman. I think anyone who reads this will be touched. This book makes you realize life is too short not to be happy. If you have a wonderful husband like I do, don't take him for granted.
Wow - what a refreshing read.
It seems that a lot of books about domestic abuse really stay on the abuse part. Although there is nothing necessarily wrong with that, it was nice to read a book where we can journey with the abused person to find happiness.
Diane leaves her abusive husband Ken at the beginning of the book. She starts the journey of rebuilding her life with her two young children.
She meets Darren and finally finds true love, but unfortunately health problems soon arise.
I haven't cried this much since the end of "A Walk to Remember"!
Keep the tissues handy.
I was puling for Diane and the kids the whole time. Every time I turned the page, I became more invested in the book. My heart broke at times, while reading this book.
You will need tissues! I absolutely loved this book. The emotional ride...the characters go on and the way the author makes you feel what the characters feel. This story had such a real feel to it and its written extremely well. Great job!
Sometime we always want happy endings but life isn't always so, I found this book full of values and principles we can adapt and practice everyday.
One - Diane's courage to move forward in fear and uncertainty of the future even thought she suffered abuse and loss.
Two - she valued internal happiness above possession and status and when it was time to choose she chose life.
Three - the nature of Daren
Such a sweet and touching story of love, pain, and joy. A story about live and how sometimes, no matter what you do you cannot change God's plans.
Oh my gosh what a true love story that was so very happy and then her death. Made me cry not wanting for it to happen
