I've never written an amazon review but this certainly called for me to figure one out.I was in the process of opening a new business (not printing) when I came across this book. At first I was cautious to purchase it as there are a lot of books out there that are normally not helpful at all. I had a good feeling about this one though and purchasing it certainly was one of the best decisions I've made.
Brett writes to us and let's us know how he's become a successful print broker through the steps he's taken to reach his own success and details how we can replicate his method in easy to understand, highly affect
ways.
It's allowed me to start very quickly and there is such a high earning potential. Anyone can do it if you apply what Brett's outlined. I have absolutely no experience and I've managed to achieve so much more than anyone thought possible so far and this is only the begging.
I read it one sitting and filled a legal note pad with what he teaches and refer back to often.
Get excited about what Brett has to offer. This is a great way to start your own business or add excellent supplemental revenue to your already existing one.

I have never written a review before and I probably never will again. But, I have been looking for information on how to become a print broker for a while with no luck. Finally, Brett Adams has written about it. He explains the business in an easy to understand manner. The information in the book is everything you need to get started as a print broker. It could not have come at a better time for me.
This is an awesome read! So informative and helpful ! Reading this book locked it in for me. Why would anyone get into the printing business any other way? This is my ticket to prosperity. Thank you,Brett ! I've already started to get things moving . This book has shown me that, success IS my only option.
Making money is something almost everyone is interest in, and this book provides a helpful way to make that happen. It is realistic in that the author doesn't lie about having to work to make it, but the process is easier than a typical 9-5 and you can be your own boss. The fact that this book didn't cost a lot for an overview of how to run this type of business makes it worth the investment. The small amount of capital that would be required to launch the business is also a major plus. If you are looking into a book that can provide you a quick entrepreneurial venture that will make you extra income than this is a book for you.

Maybe for the next version you could write about print broker software too. That would be interesting.
Similar to another reviewer here, I have been looking into buying a franchise as my hour long commute (each way) has been taking its toll on me.
After reading a well-researched white paper on franchising, also by Brett Adams, I realized that the published success rates about franchising are false. He attributes some quotes to Robert Purvin, author of "The Franchise Fraud", as well as many other sources. I also learned that franchises fail at about the same astonishing rate as independent startups and that the franchise industry has been quoting an inaccurate report from about 30 years ago!
Long story short Franchise success rates do not include the failure of owners who lose their life savings, take no salary or sell at a loss. They only include stores that no longer exist in their current location which excludes stores that revert back to the corporate office, are sold for a loss or which ownership is transferred in some other way.
The information in that white paper certainly made me think twice about raiding my 401k to invest in a business that is tantamount to "indentured servitude." I needed an alternative and Brett Adams has one.
I never knew that there was such a thing as a print broker, but it makes perfect sense. Inside the book, he explains among other details what a print broker is, how print brokers make money and how to get started being a print broker.
The fact that you can be a successful print broker with very little startup costs and very low risk of investment yet still have a business that can provide a professional income is very intriguing to me and one I am seriously considering.
No one will mistake this book for one written by business legends like Seth Godin or Jack Welch, but it does lay out a clear, easy to understand path about a business that seemingly very few people outside of the printing business know much about.
Based on what I've read in this book, if you're looking for a real business that can afford you a professional income with low risk, low startup costs and afford you tons of time freedom to play golf, tennis, etc., this book may be for you. For 20 bucks, it was a real eye-opener for me and potentially saved me tens of thousands.
